DAY 1: PENANG
Arrive Penang. Transfer to the Hotel. The city tour
starts from the capital city of Penang Island -
Georgetown, named after King George of England. Some
of the famous and interesting tourist attractions
are the ruins of Fort Cornwallis built by the
British East India Company in 1808, the Khoo Kongsi
the famous clan house which is a magnificent example
of old Chinese architecture with its intricate wood
carvings, the Wat Chayamangkalaram the third largest
reclining Buddha statue in the world (33 meters) and
the famous 30 hectares Botanical gardens with its
lush tropical greenery and the care free monkeys.
DAY 02 PENANG
Take an exciting funicular tram ride up the 830
meters hill to enjoy a panoramic view of Georgetown
and the Straits of Malacca and visit the Kek Lok Si
Temple - the largest Buddhist Temple in South East
Asia, nestled within the hills of Penang and
dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy. This Temple was
built by the Monks in the late 19th Century and
stands on a seven tier Pagoda with a distinctly
mixed architecture of the Thais, Burmese, and
Chinese and houses a total of 10,000 Buddha's.
DAY 03 PENANG
Breakfast & Lunch at hotel, At leisure till transfer
out to airport.

Depart Kuala Lumpur
